What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you complete one of our contact forms, you will be asked to also be added to our newsletter. if you don’t tick this box, you will not receive our monthly newsletter but we might still contact you regarding your booking or event and offer suggestions to make your evening more enjoyable.
If you do not want to receive any communication from us at all, then you can let us know writing to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will make sure you never hear from us again!
We also also for your telephone number, but we will only use this to send you information regarding your booking or directions to our restaurant. We do not cold call our clients.
All your contact details are kept in our contact book online using “The Fork”. Only our staff have access to this contact book and your details are kept for 2 years. Id you want us to remove your contact details from our database, please do not hesitate to contact us by writing an email to email@example.com.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
